DILA is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Employment Director
Full time, exempt position of Employment Director will manage all aspects of the employment program, a program designed to match our clients, individuals with disabilities, with potential employers, including providing guidance, supervision and support to various personnel. Identifies and markets the program to potential employers and related agencies. Ensures compliance with all funding agents and agency policies and procedures. Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, with emphasis on rehabilitation counseling, guidance and counseling, special education, social work psychology or occupational therapy. Strong vocational skills and knowledge of vocational grants and their reporting requirements is a must. Experience with marketing, development and relationship building is preferred. Five years of supervisory experience including experience in vocational employment services is required. Must be fluent in sign language or willing to learn. Valid driver's license required.

Contractual Full Time/Part Time Instructor
Full Time/Part Time Instructor position to teach job seeking skills to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing in one to one and group classes utilizing a carefully planned curriculum. DILA will provide training on the curriculum. Must have some teaching experience. High School Diploma and fluency in American Sign Language required.

Contractual Full Time/Part Time Job Coach
Full Time/Part Time Job Coach position to provide job coaching services to employed individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Must have some job coaching experience. High School Diploma and fluency in American Sign Language required.

Independent Living Advisors - Part Time
Work with individuals who are deaf. Provide training in independent living skills, teaching personal and household management, budgeting skills, TTY training, accessing and utilizing communication resources, medication administration and developing community relationships. The minimum qualifications are the ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language, written English required, demonstrated competency in independent living skills, and high school degree required AA or BA/BS preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
