Camp Adventure is a weekend residential camp held at Camp Pecometh.  Camp Adventure strives to provide an environment with open communication.  We offer a positive camping experience for those who might otherwise be denied the opportunity to explore their own assertiveness, confidence, and independence.  Campers develop social and emotional coping skills and a positive self-image.  They also learn to understand, accept, and even be proud of their deafness.  Leadership skills are also encouraged.  Above all, Camp Adventure’s goal is to maintain a continuation and reinforcement of Deaf Culture.
